These beautiful birds are permanent residents living wild on our property in Margaret River, Western Australia. Every morning like clockwork they provide hilarious entertainment with their bossy personalities, gymnastic hijinks, dancing performances and high speed aeronautic displays.
Just like all of my chosen subjects “Sitting Pretty” told me his name as I got to know him in the studio. Whilst he morphed onto the canvas we shared conversations whilst enjoying the company of his friends playing in our garden.
May his many shades of pink and grey bring much joy to the home in which he is chosen to roost.
